There are many parks in Darien for you to enjoy.
Baker Park
Located on Noroton Avenue. This 11.7 acre park offers a newer playground as well as grassy areas for a picnic or a game of catch or Frisbee. There is also a multi-purpose soccer/softball field.
Cherry Lawn Park
Cherry Lawn Park is a great place to take the whole family. The park is 27.5 acres off Brookside Road. The newer playground is typically full of children off all ages. There are 4 tennis courts, a basketball court, hiking ares, a gazebo, community gardens, a multi-use field, a softball field, public restroom and Cherry Lawn Park is home to the Darien Nature Center.
Tilley Pond Park
Tilley Pond Park is located of West Avenue. In the summer there are Movies at the Park. In the winter time it is transformed into an outdoor ice skating facility. Tilley Pond Park also is home to the annual Father's Day car show!
Woodland Park Nature Preserve
Woodland Park is 67.4 acres of Nature! There are 2 trail systems. 2 entrances to the park (West Avenue and Middlesex Avenue) make this wonderland easy to access. There are 2 ponds in the preserve; Turtle Pond and Old Maid's Pond. You will see Ducks, frogs, turtles and more.
Stony Brook Park
Stony Brook park is 11.3 acres. A great short hike as well as spotting a waterfall make this an enjoyable adventure. Located off Ledge Road.
Selleck's Woods
Selleck's Woods is a 28 Acre Nature Preserve. This is a great area for hiking. There are trails, streams, and two ponds, marshes and prarie pockets. Located between 1-95 and the Metro North Railroad.
McGuane Park
Home to Darien Little League. Off Noroton Avenue near the Firehouse. This is the place dreams are made of! Come and watch a baseball or softball game - you will be glad you did!
